Gordon McDowall Painting

Born in Glasgow in 1949, Gordon studied drawing and painting at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen 1972-77. He taught Art and Design in various schools and colleges in Glasgow between 1978-2011.

 

Gordon has exhibited in Aberdeen Artist, the Royal Glasgow Institute, the Paisley Art Institute, Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Watercolour Society and the RSWS. He has won three awards for his watercolours at the Sunday Times. Gordon's work can be found in private collections in Germany, London, San Francisco, New York, Hong Kong and Austrailia.

Gordon works primarily in watercolour and to commission.
